Friendfeed to Replace Twitter?

On today’s “WebbAlert” podcast Morgan Webb questioned whether the micro-blog service, Twitter, is about to become this year’s Friendster. Quoting Tech Crunch and Read-Write-Web, Webb noted the exodus from Twitter to rival micro-blog service, Friendfeed. I haven’t used Friendfeed, but issues with Twitter running slowly or just being down have been so bad that I’ve pulled my twitter-feed from the front page of my website because it was causing load-times to be “hellaciously” slow. Alas, I have accounts with Jaiku and Pownce but haven’t seen anything that leads me to believe that they’ll replace Twitter. Maybe Friendfeed will. Excuse me while I sign up for Friendfeed. jbb

- done w/ the box moving, now i need to assemble my bed. #

Thanking Matt for Helping Me Begin This New Life in Orlando

Hey Matt,
Thanks for the great pix! Hope you don’t mind that I post the pix to my flickr account. I’ll call you about the shoulder. So far so good. Also, the rest of the furniture showed up today. So I’m busy moving the boxes and furniture. I had help moving the heavy stuff by one of my co-workers and then we went to my boss, Holly’s, graduation party. I’m beat, but need to move some more boxes now that it’s cooler.
I’m doing pretty good at work and have adjusted to it raining every afternoon. I also got a surprise message from a former girlfriend for the Biola days who lives right here in Orlando. We went out to dinner Friday night to catch up on things. Life continues to be very very amazing. I won’t be starting anything with the old flame, but it’s nice having friends here.
I hope you were able to get a hold of Juls. She’s going to have more surgery next week, on the 3rd, to fix some of the last cosmetic surgery. I’m sure that she will appreciate the gift of the chair.
Bro, I am so happy that we were able to share the adventure of the drive here and that you were here when I began this new life. It was a very special week in my life that I will never forget and it was a perfect way to begin this new chapter of my life. Thank you. Much love and appreciation, jbb

- back2my-mac works! it’s way 2 slow 2 play music or videos stored on the remote mac, but it’ll change what I need 2 keep on the mbp & ext hd #

D&D Characters Playing D&D

I’m posting the following video in honor of my own video debut today playing a D&D player for fellow Full Sail course director, Dan. I can only pray that Jonathan, Full Sail videographer/editor, saves us from looking entirely as stupid as we felt as we stumbled over our lines and swallowed our diction (I’m speaking entirely regarding my own “performance” or the lack thereof). I pray that we come off as stupid AND funny and not just stupid. Either way, the following video is my favorite take on D&D. jbb
