It’s been a while since I’ve bothered with a film review, especially something that isn’t Sci-Fi…

I’m not fond of the title, that was changed for American audiences from “The F-Word” to the limp, meaningless, “What If.” That said, I loved the chemistry, the awkward energy and conversations between all of the characters. And this isn’t because I can identify with this worse case scenario/best case scenario of Daniel Radcliffe’s character agreeing to become friends with someone who comes to mean much more to him than simple friendship. Basically, much like these confusing modern days and given the film’s indie roots, there’s no guarantee that this will end well for any of the characters. Someone might not end up with their F-Word of choice. Like I said, I’m not really much of a romantic-comedy fan, but I’d be more than willing to recommend the adventures of Wallace and Chantry to anyone secretly hiding a hopeful heart.
