So, Spring started today? Temperatures in Las Vegas are still a bit chilly (with a low of 48 and a high of 66) and it was pretty windy in the afternoon. We don’t have much in the way of four actual seasons. It’s either pretty cold or blazing hot. The number of moderate days is literally “days.” But I think the point of today’s meditation was less about weather and more about connecting with the changing natural environment around us. That can be a bit challenging in a city like Las Vegas that tries to ignore natural circadian rhythms and is known for its artificial environments. So, maybe one can just slow down long enough to notice the small changes around us that express the changes, ever so slight, that are going on around us. The point might be to pause and notice and breath. I hope you had a good Monday.
