Been doing okay of late. Last two Fridays I’ve “spent” with my former roommate Brent on the phone. That’s been great.

This morning while waiting for church to begin I penned a brief note to my love. Given how shitty the week began for her I just wanted to send an “up” note:

I know that it may not feel like it lately but every moment of every day you are in my prayers & my heart, not because of what I want for myself but because of what I want for you and your boys. Always and in every place that I find myself my thoughts yearn for there to be happiness and peace in your life. 12. JBB
