Those following my twitters will know that I had a wonderful experience at the DMV this morning… all morning. Truth be told it would have been a much more tolerable experience had I taken care of the whole car insurance thing before showing up at the vehicle registration place with my out-of-date insurance card from my California insurer and little more than a smile. Dumb, dumb, dumb. And you think I’d have learned this lesson considering that just 42-days ago getting the keys to my apartment was delayed while I negotiated getting renters insurance over the phone. Ack. The one good thing that came out of this whole ordeal was I got a chance to select a license plate theme consistent with my lifelong space-cadet-ness. 😉 jbb
