Tomorrow, November 2nd, is the last day of Dia de los Meurtos. Last day, you ask? Yeah, it’s a multi-day holiday as outline in the following video:

When I was a kid I remember going with my family and visiting the cemetery where my grandparents and other relatives were buried every Christmas and Easter after church. I don’t remember any Ofrendas, or small family altars being set up in our homes or the homes of our relatives. Did or does your family have any traditions connected to Halloween/Dia de los Meurtos, or just honoring the memory of family members who have passed on? Whether or not your family has such traditions, why do you think people who celebrate holidays like Dia de los Muertos might think it’s an important holiday to remember?
