After driving across town (in the rain) to return some borrowed robots, I stopped by a local Apple Store to find out who to talk to about possible employment (you know, after the school year ends…). Looks like the hiring freezes that have hit other tech firms has also hit Apple. The guy said that they might hire “temps” in the summer, depending on the economy. Damn. I needed to take a stab to get this process going. So then I went across the mall and did a little retail therapy at the LEGO store. I couldn’t justify the $500 Rivendell set (especially in view of unknown future employment…), but I could justify these three Brickheadz… Now to find the time to build (and finish the LEGO Truck that I started…).
