Describe your perfect day from beginning to end…

The day would begin with no alarm clock because I’m getting up at a reasonable 8 AM. The morning would continue with a full breakfast eaten sitting at my table and not running out the door. Either before or after breakfast I would take a nice hot shower to kickstart my mental processes and plan for the day. Then the work part of the day can begin if I’m working from home or having to drive somewhere.

Funny, I know the prompt is about a perfect day, in the sense of like a vacation day (as illustrated in the picture), but my mind automatically thought about a normal work day, except tweaked to my preferences versus the current daily grind. That said, there are only 26 more days with students left in the year and after that I have no idea what my schedule might be. But I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to continue to write these prompts and responses, hopefully for a larger audience, and continue to build my skills as a writer and communicator. I know I’ve veered off topic, but my intention is to weave as many perfect days as possible into whatever I spend the next years doing on a daily basis.

What does your perfect day (life) look like?
