Sorry, this one is late… It’s been that kind of week (“one step forward, endless steps to go in not enough time…”). Anyway, this short documentary showed up in my feed and reminded me of how much I loved the early Japanese animated movies mentioned in the documentary like Akira and Ghost in the Shell. I find it a bit funny, that I’m posting this on a Saturday morning, which is when I remember watching animated TV as a kid and whether animated storytelling would have remained had it not been for Japanese animation and Akira, specifically. After watching this documentary, I think I want to get a copy of the original Japanese manga. Now, to find the time. Enjoy.
