I found this story almost a year ago and posted the following video (not the movie trailer) with the following prompt to my students:
Today is World Gratitude Day. Being thankful isn’t something that everyone naturally does. A lot of times we might be focused on what we don’t have and envious of what others have. But given all of the challenges of the last two years, what’s one thing that you are thankful for that you have in your life today?
Jose Hernandez has shown his commitment to his dreams. I’m really looking forward to the movie that will come out on Friday September 15th on Amazon Prime and not currently listed appearing in my local theaters. I’d love to see this one on the big screen and it deserves wide release. One more news video about the man behind the story:
