What made me smile today?

I got messages from two friends today, one I’ve known forever and the other I hadn’t heard from in a while. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been fortunate in the number and quality of friends I’ve had in my life. I do wish we were able to communicate a bit more but that was a nice way to begin the day.
