Video Fridays: “You Learn” from Jagged Little Pill

Twenty years ago I found myself in a series of unfortunate attempts at love that I call my period of insanity. One way that I survived my own idiocy was to vent with the music I was listening to and one artist who expressed my rage and frustration quite well was Alanis Morissette. I didn’t know her from her videos or whatever else that was going on in the rest of the world, but when I needed to scream and cry it was often to the words and music of Ms. Morissette. And now I see she’s made a musical out of her songs. Amazing. Whatever you are going through, please find the voice, the music, the power that expresses your place in your journey and sing. It may help you navigate through your period of insanity.
