Am I “that” kind of football fan? Last week I was contemplating how I’ve fallen short of having an All-Day Football Sunday since moving to Las Vegas. I’ve pretty much resigned myself to watching as many games as I can each week and catch whatever I miss using the “highlights” feature on the NFL.com website. My challenge this weekend and for the next couple weekends is that I’m in Hawaii and the Sunday morning games begin at 7AM. I am not a fan of getting up early on Sundays (or any day, for that matter). So, I guess I’ll be catching the mid-day and evening games and do the rest via the “highlights” option. Does that make me one of those fair-weather fans? 

My hosts, Joyce and Dano, are perfectly okay with me throwing on the football games today (and the Thursday Night game on Amazon Prime). I’m guessing they would not regularly watch the games (when I first arrived the TV in the living room was always on a video stream camera overlooking the nearby shoreline and weather. They were quick to comment on how many commercials there were that bloats the 3 1/2 hour normal football game runtime. So, it’s not just me noticing that the typical football broadcast is more commercials than actual games. Yeah, I’m becoming that kind of “whatever” pro football fan. Meh.
