I spent my Sunday watching the AFC Championship game in the afternoon and the NFC Championship game in the evening. During the second contest, while the large men played in the background, I built three LEGO BrickHeadz figures:
There was a fourth LEGO model, Year of the Dragon figure that I didn’t finish before the game was over. The last model, the Lion Dance Guy was a lot more elaborate than the Looney Tunes models, so that took a little more concentration, which wasn’t a bad thing and kept me calm while the Lions were beating the crap out of the San Francisco 49ers for a little under the first three quarters of the game. But by the end San Francisco settled down and ended the Lion’s season, allowing the Lions to keep their record of being the only team to play every year in the Super Bowl era to never have played in the Super Bowl.
Being a life-long Rams fan I can understand how frustrating it can be to get so far in the playoffs only to lose before getting to the big game. Hell, the Rams had to move to Saint Louis before they went to and won a Super Bowl. But after getting too many images of the Lions destroying every opponent in my feed (much more graphic than the one above), I was dreading the gloating that would have happened if they had won. We’re not going to have to worry about that this year. I just hope that it’s a good Super Bowl that goes back and forth until the very end of the game. This shit is supposed to be fun. Maybe a little more LEGO and a little A.I. generated images of carnage…
The following video popped up in my feed after the game and reminded me that I can hardly wait for this year’s Bad Lip Read video from this season. For now, this clip will do, especially when Derek Carr gets decked. LOL. Enjoy.
