I love stories about the Creatives’ journey, there’s something so attractive about seeing the beauty through the struggle, something emotional about having this gift and without avarice finding a way to share it and let it be a part of beauty of this world.

In her TED Talk, author Elizabeth Gilbert, talked about the creative process as allowing the muse to work through ones work and even if for just a short moment, come into being. It comes from us, but it is part of something much bigger. We can marvel at its beauty and enjoy its presence and work towards its reemergence. But it isn’t just us, it doesn’t define us or is some kind of trap to hold us. It is something we do and something connected to a universal beauty that speaks to us. It can be a lonely, difficult struggle, but it is what we make of it and if you are a creative you know the drive and the hunger and the need, but also the peace and fulfillment and joy. That’s why I love these stories. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all. Enjoy.
